THE WISDOM FOR POVERTY ALLEVIATION IN A COMMUNITY

THE WISDOM FOR POVERTY ALLEVIATION IN THE LAND

“LET THE BLESSED BE THE BLESSING”. This is the insight we received that will help in alleviating poverty in communities across nations. God blesses people in a community for problem solving (solution). If everyone, small businesses, corporate organizations, philanthropists ,associations, religious groups, governments who earn money within a community can give very little amount of money every month for the cause of helping the extremely poor people within that community, specially for capacity development centering on balanced education and provision of food,  we can collectively arrest poverty and chain that malady forever. Wisdom is the principal thing. It is only wisdom that can usher in the change we need in the land. The book of wisdom (Bible) has it that; we should bear one another’s burden and fulfill the law of Christ. The law of Christ is LOVE.  The legend Mother Teresa in her own words; “Do not wait for leaders; do it alone person to person”. We achieve more in unity than the sum total of our individual output. This is locust philosophy.

To further analyze this wisdom, if everyone who earns salary monthly within Olodi Apapa and Ajegunle where I reside can give just N100 every month, small and medium enterprise owners give N500, corporate organizations place N10,000 on their salary record for poverty alleviation within the community where their business is located, the rich people within the community give N3000 each month, local Government Council give some little sum each month for the cause of poverty alleviation, we will have enough for human development within that community each month and love will flow in the community. If everyone can give a block we can build enough houses for those who lack shelter within our community. One good thing about this wisdom is that it is a spiritual exercise that opens doors of abundant blessings for those who make it happen. Proverbs 11 vs. 25 has it that; “A generous soul shall be made rich, he who waters shall be watered”

This is the era of information. We have what it takes. MOCET- VOLUNTEERS are championing this cause of poverty alleviation from community to community with selflessness and love (S & L) facilitating a collective and mutual fund for poverty alleviation in the land. This fund will facilitate our project tagged: FEED EDUCATE POOR CHILD (FEPC) PROJECT. Join us with your support.
