MOCET IDEOLOGY

“Extraordinary Life” is the foundational ideology behind the establishment of MISSIONARY ORGANIZATION FOR CHILD EDUCATION AND TRAINING (MOCET). Our fellows believe that living extraordinary life is living above ordinary life. It is living for others to the glory of God. We believe that life is one-third learning, one-third earning and one-third serving humanity. We captured this concept from the life of our master Jesus. He is our role model. He gave His life for the salvation of humanity. What an extraordinary life! He sacrificed His flesh and blood and has inspired us to be the living sacrifices to our generation. We are representatives of our master Jesus. He sent us on a mission to bring glory to His Father in Heaven. “As my father has sent me so I am sending you”. This is the words of our master Jesus. As MOCET-VOLUNTEERS we sow a seed of N1000 every month for poverty Alleviation through promotion of balanced education. We share food items and pay school fees for children from poor families in our communities while we disciple them to look up to Jesus our burden-bearer. We are part of the solution.  We help in solving our national problem. We are the change.  We sow seeds and nurture the seeds to grow into fruit- bearing tree so that many can pluck the fruits from the tree to live. We make collective contribution to affect lives positively. If everyone can give a block we can build many houses for those in need of shelter. We add value to people’s lives. We make the difference. We make indelible mark and live a lasting legacy in the lives of people. We are blessed to be blessings. This is the substance of our covenant with our Master Jesus. We are givers and as we give we are receiving our promotions and numerous blessings from the one who sent us. He has set for us a principle of SEED AND HARVEST which governs the rule of success in the universe. Our seeds release abundant harvest for us.  We operate with locust philosophy which states that “we achieve more in unity than the sum total of our individual output”.  We concur with the words of our goal model Mother Theresa when she said; “Unless life is lived for others, it is not worthwhile.
