MISSION: Fighting Child Poverty

MISSIONARY ORGANIZATION FOR CHILD EDUCATION AND TRAINING (MOCET) is a social and voluntary organization on the mission of fighting child poverty. We are on charity campaign building a charity oriented society. We are of the message that everybody should get involved in charitable giving so we can heal the world and make it a better place. It is a calling for work of love from God who is a epitome of love. We are providing educational scholarship and food support to abandoned children in the orphanage homes and poor children in the street languishing in lack of basic human needs. Our members and supporters are called MOCET VOLUNTEERS. We make donations called LOVE CULTURE SEED for our charitable work. Our motivation for this humanitarian service is derived from the understanding that God wants us to help the poor. Poverty is not the will of God for mankind and He wants us as His children here on earth to take to the mission of not just preaching the good news to the poor but to be the good news and source of testimony to the poor. In Proverbs 19:17; we have a promise as noted; “He who has pity on the poor lends to God and He will pay back whatever he has given”. He equally instructed us in Psalm82: 3-4; “Defend the poor and the fatherless do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and the needy free them from the hand of the wicked”. We have the revelation that it is God’s burning desire to have us His children to be the blessing to the poor. He really wants us to partner with Him to eradicate poverty out of this earth. He has promised to pay us pack in His own ways as we lend to Him by our support to the poor and needy. We obtain special favour from God as we are meeting His heart desires. He is equally meeting our own needs in no mean matters. We want you to join us in this work of love. It is a missionary calling for those who desire to touch God’s heart.

OUR STRATEGY: We have a measurable vision of having 1million MOCET VOLUNTEERS across Nigeria who will constantly be committed to sowing LOVE CULTURE SEED of free willed sum from N100 and above weekly or monthly for eradication of child poverty in Nigeria. We believe that if every one of us can give something small, we can make a big difference. If every one of us can give one block, we can build many houses for those who lack shelter. We are creating MOCET CIG: COMMUNITY IMPACT GROUP as the smallest unit of MOCET VOLUNTEERS operating in Local Government Areas. We are also raising funds through our SEED PROJECT…buy for charity. This project is our social business. Part of the income from the business is channeled to our charity work. We sell books, CDs and other information products through this project.

The CIG members within the LGA will locate children who are suffering from lack and organize community impact projects and raises fund to execute the projects. Our projects are centered on providing educational scholarship and food support for poorest of the poor. We call this project FEED EDUCATE POOR CHILD (FEPC) Project.

LOVE CULTURE VISITATION: This is our practice of visiting the poor children in the orphanage homes and poor children in their families with food items and words of counsel for their parents and guardians within the MOCET CIG region. We caught the light for LCV from James 1:27; “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the father is this; to visit orphans and widows in their trouble and to keep oneself from the world”

FEED EDUCATE POOR CHILD (FEPC) PROJECT: This is our community impact project through which we reach out to the poor children in orphanage home and children on the street with food items and education support.

OUR BENEFICIARIES: We have good number of children under our scholarship. Our little contribution are affecting lives of numerous children positively from community to community and we want to reach out to more children with this mission of love and selflessness.
