LOVE CULTURE SEED (LCS)
…building a charity oriented society
We are MOCET-VOLUNTEERS- a group
of fellows in a non-profit making organization called MISSIONARY ORGANISATION
FOR CHILD EDUCATION AND TRAINING initiated with the mission: “To partner
with parents, teachers, corporations, natural givers, wealthy
individuals, religious groups, associations, community leaders and governments
for poverty alleviation through promotion of balanced education”.
We received a mandate from
Galatians 6:2; “Bear one another’s’ burden and fulfill the law of Christ”. The
law of Christ is LOVE. We discovered from our research that LOVE and
SELFLESSNESS are the greatest positive forces that can change our community and
nation at large. Selfishness and greed has monumental negative effect on
individuals and on our national growth. Greed retards nations. Love builds
nations. John F. Kennedy once said; “Nothing just happens. Things are made to
happen”. We have been mandated to share love by bearing one another’s’ burden
mutually, collectively and cooperatively. In the words of legend Mother Teresa,
she said; “Do not wait for leaders, do it alone person to person”.
We are building a food support
and education scholarship fund for children of the poorest of the poor within
our community with our initiative tagged: FEED, EDUCATE, POOR CHILD (FEPC)
PROJECT. MOCET-VOLUNTEERS are making a clarion call for LOVE CULTURE SEED. True
and supernatural love is expressed in giving. Mother Teresa said; “The true
meaning of love is to give until it hurts. Jesus is a gift of Love. “… for God
so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son”. The foundation of
Christianity is love and love is the only force that can change our nation. We
have been assured in Proverbs 11:25; “A generous soul shall be made rich. He
who waters shall be watered”. In Proverbs 19:17 it also note; “He who has pity
on the poor lends to God and He shall pay back whatever he has given”. In James
1:27 it is written; “Pure and undefiled religion is to visit the widows and
orphans in their trouble…” God’s covenant with Abraham was to make him a
blessing. Jesus called us the light of the world. The way to manifest as the
lights is to champion a cause that will lift the hurts of our society. Poverty
is the major hurt of our society.
The best way to attract God’s
blessing into our lives, business and family is first do the things that
pleases God. Helping the needy brings smiles to God face. The number one
principle that governs the universe is the principle of sowing and reaping. That
is what farmers’ practices. To get harvest, we need to sow seeds first. To get
blessed by others we need to bless others first with the little God has blessed
us with. We need to build on mutuality principle to build our nation. Locust
philosophy states; “We achieve more in unity than the sum total of our
individual output” if everyone can give a block we can build many houses for
those who lack shelter. It takes a little to touch lives. We need to wake up to
the tenet of giving and receiving in love to move our nation forward. Giving
lifts the receiver and it lifts the giver much more. It will prosper the works
of our hands. It is a spiritual principle the unleashes our blessings released
in the realm of the spirit. Jesus in His own words said; “It is more blessed to
give than to receive..”. It is the heart of charity that prospered Europe and
America. Their forefathers understood the principle of charity. They believed
in love and selflessness. They knew that the first principle of morality is;
“Love your neighbor as yourself”. That was why they prospered in leads and
bounds. We can do the same to move our dear nation forward. We are the
forefathers of the next generation. We can do something. We can make it happen
for God so that He can make it happen for us in our life career and business.
